    Campus Visits

    Thank you for your interest in visiting Linfield University.

    We require advanced registration through the form linked below. You may request and confirm a visit up to 48 hours in advance, or contact the Office of Admission at 503-883-2213 on a space available basis.

    Use the calendar below to select available campus visit dates. If no dates are available, please call the Office of Admission at 503-883-2213 to inquire about additional visit options.

    Most weekdays, we offer up to four small group tours. Individual tours may be available by request only, please email admission@linfield.edu or call 503-883-2213. 

    • Take a campus tour, led by an admission counselor or current student, with a discussion of academic programs, extracurricular activities, the admission and financial aid process and next steps to enrollment. The campus tour will focus on the interests of the student and can include classrooms, library, science labs, performing and visual arts, athletic facilities and a residence hall.
    • Meet with an Admission Counselor, if tour is led by current student.
    • Meet with a Financial Aid Counselor, for students admitted/enrolling spring/fall 2024
    • Meet with a Coach, if available
    • Meet with a Professor, if available

    We request 48 hours or two business days notice to confirm all visits, but we also accept walk-ins on a space available basis during business hours.

    Visit Instructions and Policy
    Linfield also reserves the right to cancel visits, including individual/group visits and event programs, to ensure the health and safety of our staff and guests because of severe weather including, but not limited to, excessive heat/cold, wind, snow and ice, or due to changing campus or community health concerns. Should a visit be cancelled, you will be communicated with via email, text and/or phone with as much notice as possible.

    You will be asked to agree to the following statement as part of the visit confirmation process:

    Policy Agreement
    I have reviewed the visit policy with my guests and we agree to abide by it during our visit to campus. I understand that my visit may be cancelled or curtailed should I, or my guest, fail to abide by the visit policy.

    I also understand that current university policies apply to campus visitors, including their guests, and agree to abide by all Linfield policies, including those in the current Linfield University Policy Handbook and Linfield Student Policy Guide. I understand that failure to abide by these regulations and the university's code of student conduct may result in my removal from campus and may jeopardize my admission, scholarship, financial aid and enrollment to Linfield University.

    Group Visits
    We offer school- and organization-led group visits for high school aged students and older. We can accommodate up to 30 students and require one adult chaperone for every 10 students.To request a group visit, please email admission@linfield.edu or call 503-883-2213. We require a minimum of two weeks advance notice for all visits. Due to visit and staffing limitations, we may not be able to fulfill all requests. A group visit provides you and your students an opportunity to explore the benefits of a Linfield education and experience our beautiful campus. We are able to schedule a student or admission counselor-led campus tour and presentation with an admission counselor.

    Educational Mentors
    If you are a school counselor, transfer adviser, independent educational consultant or other educational mentor visiting campus on your own, please contact our office at admission@linfield.edu or 503-883-2213 with the date and tour of your preference and we'll confirm back shortly.
