Learn more about Linfield's new LEAD Honors program and how to apply! LEAD stands for Leadership and Ethics Across Disciplines. Each year, Linfield selects high-potential, civic-minded students from a range of backgrounds to become LEAD Scholars and participate in an honors program designed to prepare them to assume the mantle of public leadership.

Benefits of the LEAD Honors Program include:

🔹 Cohort Model: You will be in a close-knit group of 16 students and two faculty advisors, fostering deep relationships through common classes, monthly activities and personalized attention.

🔹 Financial Support: Those selected for LEAD receive a $5,000 annual scholarship, renewable throughout your Linfield journey, in addition to other aid you may qualify for.

🔹 Customized Academic Plan: The program offers a tailored academic journey which includes an honors seminar, cross-disciplinary coursework and individualized mentoring.

🔹 Leadership Experience: You will gain valuable experience through leadership development programs, on- and off-campus applied practicums (e.g., collaborative research, internships) and developing a capstone honors portfolio.
