Note: at the time of application, you must submit an official transcript from each college or university you previously attended. This includes those for dual enrollment courses while in high school, regardless of whether credit was earned or is desired to be transferred.

Linfield offers three campus/program options:

McMinnville - A residential campus of 1,400 undergraduate students. Students study across 50+ majors in the arts and humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and pre-professional programs including nursing prerequisite coursework.

Linfield-Good Samaritan School of Nursing (in Portland) - A transfer-only campus serving students without an RN license transferring from another college/university who will be complete with nursing prerequisites at the time of enrollment. Traditional and accelerated calendars.

Online and Continuing Education - Entirely online programs offering select degree and certificate programs, including RN-to-BSN (for students currently enrolled in an RN program or who hold an unencumbered RN license pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing).

For McMinnville campus programs, we will determine courses that transfer and apply toward general education courses, and lower-division major requirements. If you are transferring from a four-year institution and have completed upper-division or other major requirements, we will determine, in consultation with the academic department, courses that will apply toward your intended major.

For the RN-BSN program, we will determine courses that transfer and apply toward program prerequisites and the minimum number of credits required to begin the program (42).

Due to the high volume of prospective students and applicants for the prelicensure (BSN/ABSN) programs, please take the initial step to review the BSN prerequisites page and use the prerequisite checklist to identify courses you’ve completed that will meet requirements that have already been identified in our Transfer Equivalency Database.
