Pre-Licensure Programs: for prospective students wishing to obtain an RN license
For students without both a bachelor's degree and an RN license, you may complete your prerequisite coursework at:
Linfield's McMinnville campus (minimum 30 credits) before continuing to the School of Nursing in Portland and completing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree leading to an RN license
Another institution before applying to transfer to the School of Nursing in Portland and completing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree leading to an RN license (fall or spring start only)
For students with a bachelor's degree in a field other than nursing and without an RN license, you may complete one of the following programs that are held in-person on the Portland Campus of Linfield University:
Linfield's Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program to earn a second bachelor's degree leading to an RN license (12 months, summer start)
Linfield's Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program to earn a second bachelor's degree leading to an RN license (24 months, fall/spring start)
Linfield's Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Initial Entry to the Profession of Nursing degree leading to an RN license (15 months, winter start)
Post-Licensure Programs: for prospective students with an RN license wishing to add to their education
For students with an RN license, but without a bachelor's degree, you may:
Complete Linfield's Undergraduate RN-BSN program (online, four annual start terms)
For students with a bachelor's degree and RN license, we offer:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Leadership in Healthcare Ecosystems (online, spring or fall start)

Initial Entry to the Profession of Nursing
As a second-degree candidate, you are eligible to apply for the standard (24 month) or accelerated (12 month) program. If you prefer standard, select the your intended fall or spring start term. If you prefer accelerated, selected your intended summer start term.
You may also be interested in Linfield's Master of Science in Nursing Entry to the Profession of Nursing degree, which is designed for students with a bachelor's degree in a field other than nursing to earn their RN license.
